Grand Prize Winner
Artist: Sherry Morley
Title: Accidents happen.
Stamps used: Witch accident, Broom
We absolutely loved Sherry Morley's standing pop up card featuring a witch's call to her insurance agent. We all especially enjoyed her attention to detail, the use of repetition to convey a clear theme, and her vivid color palette. The resulting card is beautiful and was on display for our annual holiday party. Thank you so much for sharing your art with us!
Artist's instruction:
Sherry used a pop-up front step panel card and adjusted the size of her card to fit the die cut she wanted to use. She used a frame die from Lawn Fawn, "say cheese," a witch die from Taylored Expressions, and a Stitched Mod rectangle die on the back of the card from Die-Namics. The sentiment was stamped and embossed with a Wow embossing pad and using Wow Bright White embossing powder. She used Copics and watercolor pencils for coloring.

We absolutely loved the shimmering dimensional look of Cathy Dahl's entry. Her use of shimmer, 3 levels of pop ups, and detailed hand-drawn elements wowed our judges. Her hand-drawn background suited her subject matter perfectly. The overall effect was magical. Thank you for sharing your art with us, Cathy!

Title: Happy Hello!
Stamps used: Umbrella Cockatoo
Gina McCreary's Happy Hello card was utterly charming. Featuring elegant lines, a rich color palette, and subtle dimensional images, her card had us from "hello." Gina colored her cockatoo with Copic markers, popped up her bird's beak and glasses with pop dots, and used glossy accents to make her bird's glasses shine.

Title: Not a creature was stirring.
Stamps used: Stirring Mouse
We loved Heidi Russell's holiday card! She used foil paper, a lightbulb punch, Layering Circles dies, Subtle Embossing Folder, Stampin' Dimensionals, and embossing to bring her Christmas mouse's cozy abode to life. The overall effect was warm and festive. Thank you so much for sharing your holiday card with us, Heidi!

2022 has been another challenging year and we truly appreciate the time and effort all of our entrants put into wowing us with their art. Thank you to everyone who entered! We hope you will all return next year.
As always, our choice was very difficult. There were many creative, clever, and polished entries and only four prizes available for this round.
We also chose 5 entries for honorable mention - though we would have liked to have chosen many more for recognition.
All card entries have been resized to fit this page; a few have also been cropped or digitally enhanced in other ways - to better suit this page and our purposes. Our judges made their choice based on the original entries as submitted; many factors were considered.
All decisions are final. Prize packages (store credits) will be sent to Grand Prize and First Prize winners by email. Honorable mention card crafters will receive a small gift in the mail from our crew for their amazing contributions to this year's contest. If you are a winner and have not been contacted by November 15th, 2022, please email us using our contact form.
